NI 2012 - the 11th International Congress on Nursing Informatics

MARK YOUR CALENDARS! The 11th International Congress on Nursing Informatics will be in Montreal, Canada, June 23 - 27, 2012.

The Congress provides a forum for nurses and other health care professionals to inform, study, evaluate, innovate, and create a climate within which they can enlarge upon their professional goals.

In order to accomplish this purpose, the objectives are:

  • To provide a mechanism for generating and sharing information.
  • To examine the impact on nursing of information technology in the areas of clinical practice, education, administration, and research, and health policy.
  • To provide an update on trends, developments, and innovations in information and communication technologies (ICT) in nursing and health care.
  • To determine the priorities for nursing uses of information science.
  • To generate future directions in relation to nurses' use of ICT.

SUBMISSIONS: The submission deadline for the NI2012 is August 31, 2011. NI2012 will also be offering a submission mentorship program which will offer the opportunity for those that need assistance in submitting. The deadline for submissions with mentoring is July 31, 2011.
